This city landmark should be the first place on any visitor’s itinerary, which features some of the most spectacular architecture in South East Asia. The palace begun in 1782. It is a consisting of several building with highly decorated architectural designs.
- Royal Grand PalaceThis is a "must" for every visitor to Bangkok, for the Grand Place Complex, which includes the Temple of The Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Keow) is unquestionably one of the wonders of the world today. Within its enormous grounds is the most exotic Buddhist temple and at the heart of the temple itself is a fabulous Buddha image, carved from one piece jade, which is the holiest and most revered of religious objects in Thailand today. Nearby is the Grand Palace, once the official home of the Kings of Siam-built in traditional Thai architecture mixed with European designs. You will also visit The Royal Funeral Hall and The Royal Coronational Hall.
11.30 Go to Maharaj Pier to take the ferry, a lovely old traditional wooden craft to have lunch at the other side of the Chao Phraya River 12:00 Lunch at Supatra River House
This two-story traditional Thai House on the banks of the Chao Phraya River near to the temple of the Dawn. Here you are amongst friends, for this is a very much a family house run in the traditional Thai way.
The décor is modern furnishings for the comfort of all the guest. In the daytime there is the shade of the tree and a cool breezes, while in the evening you can watch the sun setting and the light coming on across the water in the Grand Palace.

Experience Traditional Long Tail Boat and visit Wat Arun
The longtail boat earns its name from the long rod in the back of the boat that holds up the motor and propeller. Longtail boats are useful for exploring the canals of Bangkok. They are also used like water taxis.
They can transport between 6-8 people.
- Wat Arun : The outstanding feature of Wat Arun is its central prang (Khmer-style tower). Begun in 1809, it may have been named "Temple of the Dawn" because the first light of morning reflects off the surface of the temple with a pearly iridescence. Steep steps lead up to two terraces. The height is reported by different sources as between 66.8 m and 86 m. The corners are surrounded by 4 smaller satellite prangs. The prangs are decorated by seashells and bits of porcelain which had previously been used as ballast by boats coming Bangkok from China.
Visit The Royal Barge Museum
Once upon a time in Bangkok the Chao Phraya River and its tributaries were the most important avenue of communication, boats the main mode of transport for all, even royalty. Here you can discover eight of the country's most unique and stunning - the Royal Barges reserved for auspicious ceremonies and state occasions like the very rare Royal Barge Procession.
Each is carved from huge pieces of teak with prows carved into mythical creatures, gilded in gold and intricately decorated with tiny shimmering pieces of glass. Rowed by up to 50 specially trained oarsmen, the boats leave their dry dock at festival times and important state occasions for these spectacular processions along the river.

Damnernsaduak Floating Market ; best place to visit for your family. You will take long-tailed speed boats through the many small canals that will lead you to the Floating Market. Here you will be fascinated by boats of various shapes and sizes used by local merchants to ferry their goods. Damnernsaduak is the best known destination in Rachaburi where the timeless lifestyle of native Thai people can be observed along the canals.

Royal Thai handy craft center : The center specializes in teak carvings and furniture. There are paper making demonstrations, carving workshops and souvenir stores. Oper daily from 08.00-17.00
12:00 Lunch at local Thai restaurant 13:30 Visit Crocodile Farm and elephant ground. Expereience the excithing show from the crocodile hunter. Enjoy the animal show at the farm including elephant theme shows, elephantdancing.
The main reason for a visit to the Crocodile Farm is though to see the shows they put on! It is possible to witness ‘Crocodile Wrestling’ and keepers putting their heads into crocodile’s mouths – quite amazing spectacles. In addition, there are a number of other activities for visitors. ‘Acrobatic elephant’ shows, elephant and camel rides, paddle boats on the lake and a visit to the ‘Monkey Playground’ all serve to keep children thoroughly entertained. Given its location and the amount to be seen and done, a visit to the Crocodile Farm is an all day affair. If you have plenty of time in Bangkok, it is certainly worth a visit.

A mixture of poshly dressed, fresh-from-the-office Thai's and expats along with fisherman pant-clad tourists, Suan Lum could best be described as the VIP outdoor market of Bangkok (where you're always welcome, of course).
Covered walkways with centrally-located snack bars provide perhaps the most luxurious (outdoor) market shopping experience in the city. Several bars along with Thai, Italian, German, and even Mexican restaurants are conveniently within the market area, close enough to analyze the crowd while enjoying a drink, yet away from the market's hustle-and-bustle. In the same area, dinner shows featuring classical Thai puppetry can be enjoyed at the famous Joe Louis Puppet Theatre.

Go to Suan Nong Nuch Village - A tourist attraction amidst natural surroundings covering an area of around 420 acres. Nongnooch Village ordiids and gardens with flowering plants, mangoes, orchids, casti and other types of flora. Thai style teak wood houses are available for rent. There is also a zoo and Thai Cultural Center showcasing the art of Thai performing art, martial arts, folk sports and performances by elephants. Performances are held triple daily at 10.15 am 3 pm and 3.45 pm and shows last around 1 hour.
