DAY1
09:00	Hotel picks up
10:30	Arrive Kanchanaburi and visit : Thailand – Myanmar Railway,War Museum,River Kwai Bridge
This famous bridge is spans the Kwai Yai River. It was brought from Java by the Japanese Army and assembled at the River Kwai by the war prisoners. Bombed several times in 1945, it was rebuilt after the war. The curved spans of the bridge are the original sections. An estimated 16,000 war prisoners and 49,000 impressed labourers died during the constrution of the bridge and the Death-Railway line that leads to Burma. There will be a light and sound presentation at the bridge during the River Kwai Bridge Week around November 26 - December 7 (one week only).

13:00	Visit Tiger Temple
The Tiger Temple is a popular tourist attraction, but it has attracted controversy ever since the first abandoned tiger cub was taken to the temple. Thai temples often become homes for unwanted or stray animals, notably dogs, but the temple of Wat Pa Luangta Bua Yannasampanno has become home to a number of tigers since the first abandoned tiger cub was taken in by the abbot of the wat in 1999. The Tiger Temple has faced numerous allegations that the tigers are sedated and claws and teeth are removed to ensure they are docile for the tourists who visit the temple. I have to admit that I’ve not yet visited the Tiger Temple so I can’t write from first hand experience. I offer some links here which may go some way in helping you to decide whether it’s a good idea to visit there or not.
