Pattaya - Nongnuch Garden Tour (2days 1 night)

In fact only 40 years ago Pattaya as we know it today,didn't even exist. On the stretch of coast between Sriracha and Sattahip, there were only a small number of fishing villages and in Pattaya bay itself, there were just a few fishing families who had settled here because of the calm waters and the safety of the bay, protected headlands to the North and South and by mountains behind.Their nearest neighbors lived just around the headland to the north, where, in the old days salt used to be produced (Naa-Klua = salt fields) but where there were now mainly fishing families. People traveled about by foot or by bullock carts because, except of the main road from Bangkok to Sattahip, only a few dirt roads and tracks existed.

Today Pattaya is Thailand's premier beach resort and attracts annually more than a million tourists from all over the world. Pattaya provides high standard hotels, restaurants, sports, entertainment and shopping facilities. The resort is Thailand's most important diving center and the east coast is also a paradise for golfers.

The Jomtien Beach is located about 2 kilometers from south Pattaya. This beach and the area has become more and more popular for swimming, water sports and activities because it has a long straight coastline and there are less boat anchored in the area. There are many good hotels, bungalos, guest houses and many restaurants. A lot of tourists come to this area and enjoy the scenery and the beach. Chairs are available to sit and to have food and drink, or to go swimming. Water sports such as wind surf, water scooter, para sail, speed boat riding, even water skiing are possible.

Go to Suan Nong Nuch Village - A tourist attraction amidst natural surroundings covering an area of around 420 acres. Nongnooch Village ordiids and gardens with flowering plants, mangoes, orchids, casti and other types of flora. Thai style teak wood houses are available for rent. There is also a zoo and Thai Cultural Center showcasing the art of Thai performing art, martial arts, folk sports and performances by elephants. Performances are held triple daily at 10.15 am 3 pm and 3.45 pm and shows last around 1 hour.
